Volunteers Needed

The Hardy County Health Department has begun recruiting volunteers for the Hardy County Medical Reserve Corps (HCMRC).  If you are interested please contact us today.  Your community needs you!


 

 

[ Breast and Cervical ] Communicable Disease ] Family Planning ] Health Check ] Immunizations ]

 

 

Screening includes:

  • Registered Nurse provides screening.

  • referrals for mammograms as appropriate.

  • pap tests and pelvic exams for women age 25 and older, tubal, post-menopausal

  • breast exams by a doctor or nurse

  • colposcopy (follow-up abnormal pap)

  • free information about how to find breast and cervical cancer early

 

Free or minimal charge based on income for clinical services

 

Transportation for Breast and Cervical Cancer Treatment:

  • Provides funding for mileage to obtain treatment for breast and cervical cancer.

 

Breast and Cervical Cancer Treatment:

  • Referral of uninsured for payment of breast and cervical cancer treatment.
